Applications

The CanNeed-FMS-2000 Automatic Front End Measurement System is a high-precision solution for measuring bottom depth, can height, and wall thickness (top and midwall) of 2-piece cans. Engineered for rigorous quality control in food and beverage production, the system utilizes a standard calibration gauge, high-accuracy imported micrometers, and intuitive touch-screen PLC control. Its versatile design accommodates various can sizes without the need for time-consuming clamp changes.

Testing Process:

-Samples rotate automatically upon initiation.
-Three pneumatic sensors perform measurements simultaneously, with up to 50 sample points per rotation.
-Automated measurement of bottom depth, can height, and wall thickness.
-Measurement data is exported seamlessly via RS232 interface for SPC integration.
