The CanNeed-CAN-5001 and CAN-5002 CO₂ and pressure tester is a precision instrument designed for measuring CO₂ content in carbonated beverages packaged in glass, PET bottles, or cans. Built according to ASBC (American Society of Brewing Chemists) theory and compliant with GB/T 4928–2001 and GB/T 10792–1995 standards, this tester is the industry standard for quality control in beverage manufacturing and technical supervision laboratories.
Sample Compatibility:
CAN-5001: Max diameter 102mm, max height 330mm.
CAN-5002: Max diameter 115mm, max height 410mm.
Designed for versatility, the system accommodates various container sizes. Once the sample is pierced, equilibrium pressure is captured via a high-accuracy manometer. The CAN-5001-T model includes an integrated dial thermometer for simultaneous temperature and pressure readings, while the standard CAN-5001 allows for external temperature verification. CO₂ content is quickly determined using standard slide rules or pressure/temperature relationship charts.
The robust, simple design ensures consistent, reliable results. For comprehensive quality analysis, the unit can be paired with the CanNeed-IAM-30 Air Meter to measure both CO₂ and dissolved air content.
