The CanNeed-EPS-200 End Profile System is a high-precision optical measurement solution designed for quality control in food and beverage packaging. By replacing traditional destructive testing, this system provides accurate, repeatable measurements of end dimensions to prevent double seam defects such as faulty sealing and bearing cover issues.
The CanNeed-EPS-200 allows operators to measure entire profile parameters of ends quickly and reliably, ensuring consistent results regardless of the user.
1) Automated 12-parameter measurement: After manual clamping and a single button press, the system automatically measures end outer diameter, internal diameter, chuck adapting diameter, curl width, curl height, outer curl radius, countersink, flange, total height, angle, thickness, and countersink bottom radius.
2) Optional pressure head matching: The industry-pioneered measurement module allows for the automatic calculation of pressing head parameters, including height, diameter, segment radian, and angle. The software provides instant visual matching analysis between the pressure head and the end.
