Applications
The Seam-X®-On-Line Automatic Seam Scanner provides non-destructive, high-speed measurement of double seam dimensions directly on the production line. Designed for the food & beverage industry, this system automates sampling and analysis for aluminum and tin cans, ensuring consistent quality control without the need for destructive cutting methods.
Measure Items: Seam Length, Body Hook, End Hook, Overlap, %Overlap, Seam Gap, %Body Hook Butting, and %End Hook Butting. The system integrates seamlessly with seam thickness and countersink gauges to form a complete inspection suite, with optional identification sampling to track results by seamer head.
