Applications

The “CanNeed-ELT 100 Leak Tester for End” is used to determine the pressure at which ends buckle. This tester is also used to test for pin hole leaks in the tab score and rivet area.

There are two intended testing purpose for CanNeed-ELT-100 Leak Tester for End:
1. To determine the pressure at which ends buckle
2. To test for pin hole leaks in the tab score and rivet area

Advantages

1. CanNeed-ELT-100 is easy to use. It can test 2 ends per time. The test sample is placed on the Change Part, the water chamber is closed, and pressure is applied to the product side of the end. At low pressure, the leak is usually caused by scores or rivets. Leaking spots are made visible by revealing bubbles in the water bath. When the pressure is increased to some point, the end will either buckle or start to leak. The pressure at which the failure occurs can be obtained from the front-panel mounted gauge, which incorporates a lazy hand for easy end failure recording.
2. Applicable for both round ends and oval ends!!!
3. Each end diameter or shape requires specially adjusted holders, which can be exchanged easily. The dimensions of ends are needed when placing the order
