Applications

The CanNeed-PNR-C100 Pressure No Return Tester is an essential tool for food and beverage packaging quality control, designed to measure the PNR value (Plastic Deformation) and buckle resistance of can bottoms. During the pressurization process, the integrated micrometer tracks deformation, while the software generates precise curves to analyze the correlation between pressure and structural integrity.

Advantages

Three testing modes:

• PNR Testing: Securely clamps the sample, tracks deformation via micrometer, and generates a curve to identify the exact point of “No Return Deformation.”
• Buckle Testing: Measures the maximum bearable pressure of the can bottom until buckling occurs, displaying the peak value on the screen.
• Deformation Depth Test: Applies pressure until a preset deformation amount is reached to measure the corresponding pressure value.
