Applications
The CanNeed-SCT-210 Stress Cracking Tester is a high-precision instrument designed to evaluate the stress crack resistance of blow-molded PET bottles. Ideal for food and beverage quality control, this system simulates the effects of lye exposure on bottle bases following production line cleaning. With 26 independent stations, the SCT-210 allows for simultaneous, reliable testing of multiple samples.
Measurement Method: The system utilizes a constant pressure test, simulating internal bottle gas pressure via compressed air. The bottle base is immersed in a lye solution, and the system monitors pressure drops to detect ruptures, providing an accurate assessment of material integrity.
Key Features & Advantages
- Independent Station Control: Each of the 26 stations features an independent sensor and intake valve, ensuring that a rupture in one bottle does not affect the test results or lye concentration of others.
- Enhanced Safety: Features a transparent cover with a protective net, door status sensing for rapid pressure release, and automated lye handling to minimize manual contact.
- Efficiency: Equipped with Type-C quick connectors for rapid sample installation and an electric discharge system for convenient residue recycling.
- Data Management: Includes an LCD touch screen, multi-group data saving, and RS232 communication for seamless data analysis and background backup.
- Robust Design: Constructed with a 304 stainless steel cabinet, featuring separated electrical and pressurizing stations for long-term durability.
